The referee's personality caught the European Super Cup

The referee's personality caught the European Super Cup
European Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid takes place in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia on August 15. This is the first time in history that the capital derby occurred in a European Super Cup match. It was the Polish referee, Szymon Marciniak, who had the honor to make the final match.

Szymon Marciniak has been recognized as an international referee since 2011. At the 2018 World Cup, he held two matches against Germany against Sweden and Argentina against Iceland.

In the Champions League last season, referee Szymon Marciniak caught five matches, including a match in the group stage between Real and Tottenham (1-1). In total, referee Marciniak has already taken three Real appearances. In addition to last season's Tottenham match against Dortmund (2-2, 2016/17), Roma (2-0, 2015/16).

At Atletico, the Blacks captain of the Polish national team, 2-0 at Atletico with Bayern Munich (1-0, 2016/17) and Galatasaray (0-2, 2015/16).

Assistant to Marciniak in the European Super Cup are fellow countrymen Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz.
