After nearly a decade of sticking with Real, Ronaldo said goodbye to the Spanish team to switch to Juventus for a fee of 112 million euros. The Portuguese star will sign a four-year contract with a salary of 30 million euros per season.
While playing in Real, Ronaldo with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema became the trio of scary strikers in La Liga as well as the Champions League. Bale is considered the successor to Ronaldo in leading Los Blancos, when the player moved from Tottenham in 2013.

Shortly after hearing that Ronaldo broke up with Real, Bale thanked his teammate who had been with him for half a decade. "A special player and top star, it's been a pleasure to play with him for the past five years, good luck on the new team, my friend," Bale shared on his personal Twitter.
Beside Bale, many of the 33-year-old's former teammates also posted emotional lines, good luck.
Midfielder Toni Kroos writes: "It's important for the titles we've won over the years, a real champion, it's fun to play with him, hope all the best, legend".
