Champions League 2018/19 applies the 4th law
As of the 2018/19 season, UEFA competitions such as the Champions League and the Europa League will be subject to a fourth amendment if the game goes into extra time. This rule applies in the following specific tournaments:

• UEFA Champions League 2018/19

• UEFA Europa League 2018/19

• UEFA European Super Cup 2018

• UEFA Women's Champions League 2018/19

Also at youth level, the number of substitutions per team can be increased to 5. The UEFA amendment is as follows:

- There are at most 5 changes for each team.

- In 90 minutes, each team has up to 3 stoppage time to substitute.

- If the match draws to extra time, each team will have up to four stoppage time, however, each team must ensure at least one stoppage in extra time.

- The change of person during the break between two matches, the break time after two matches to extra time and the break between extra time will not reduce the number of times the match can be used.
