Modric fight for Neymar Real

After a friendly match between Brazil and Croatia last night, Luka Modric approached Neymar and expressed his desire for the world's most expensive player to join Real Madrid.

In the summer of 2017, Neymar joined PSG under the most expensive contract in the world worth € 222 million. However, after just one season, Neymar has squeezed out of the PSG and one of the destinations of the Brazilian star is Real Madrid. Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Neymar's father had met PSG and asked to leave.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admits the Spanish side have tried to sign Neymar before the star joins Barca in 2013. Perez also reiterated his desire to bring Neymar to Madrid.

Amidst the background, Modric has acted as a bridge to persuade Neymar to join Real. After the match between Brazil and Croatia at Anfield last night, Modric made his move to Neymar and suggested the two sides sign their shirts for each other. Neymar happily respond. Modric said to Neymar, "We are waiting for you." In response, Neymar laughed at Modric and said nothing.

In the match between Brazil and Croatia, Neymar came on as a substitute in the second half. However, the star quickly showed the level with the opening goal. Neymar's contribution helped Brazil to a 2-0 win over Croatia.
