Zidane's salary rose from 6 million euros to 10 million euros a year. But before Zidane's resignation as Real Madrid head coach before the two-year deadline of his contract, he has missed the chance to pocket 20 million euros in salaries.

This is not the first time Zidane has broken up with Real. As a player, he also announced his departure 1 year before the contract with the Royal team of Madrid ended.
